We love our new stove! Firstly Wayne came out and completed a survey within 48 hours of our first enquiry, he talked us through our options and an explanation behind no chimney, no problem, it really wasn’t a problem and we looked through brochures with Wayne and chose our stove there and then. 10 days later Three Shires Stoves arrived and fitted our burner and built our fireplace, the job was completed within 2 days and they even hoovered up after themselves! A very happy customer.
Three Shires Stoves came and did a survey on our barn to see if a stove was appropriate, we had called 2 other companies and they were not prepared to do the work as it wasn’t a simple residential job. Wayne travelled 55 minutes to get to us and offered expert advice, after tweaking a few of our ideas we agreed on the right stove and positioning, Wayne booked us in within 2 weeks and arrived promptly at 8:30am with his apprentice, the work was completed within a day and a half and he has since been out and swept our chimney and completed maintenance to our stove (after we cracked the glass with a log). Since then he has fitted wonderful stoves for 3 members of our family, so I’m sure he will agree it was a worthwhile trip to do the survey! Thanks Three Shires Stoves.
I called Three Shires Stoves to replace our old stove that was a dated old Charnwood in excess of 20 years old, our chimney had to be swept and relined and a new stove installation had to be done. I had 3 companies come out and complete a survey including Three Shires and they were by far the most competitive, I told them I wanted the same up to date Charnwood Stove and the job was booked in and completed the following week. We are very happy with the stove and the service and our cat now lays in front of it soaking up all the heat.
Having no idea what kind of stove I needed I called Three Shires Stoves to come out and take a look at it, Sarah booked me in and offered me 3 time slots that week in the evening for Wayne to come out and do a survey, I had been looking at fires of in excess of 10 kW but Wayne showed me the stove output calculator that basically showed for my room I only needed a 5 kW stove which a was a huge saving! In an area with oil fired central heating my stove has saved me a great deal on energy prices and Wayne recommended a great company that supplies me with wood. I wouldn’t be without my wonderful stove and have just booked my first yearly sweep and maintenance with Three Shires Stoves.
I called Hetas and they recommended 3 companies that covered my area, 1 didn’t even return my call, 1 couldn’t do a survey for 3 weeks, but Three Shires Stoves were happy to come and see me on a Saturday and do a survey. Wayne provided expert advice and my stove was fitted within two weeks of my enquiry, a very prompt and professional service, will be recommending.
I live in a built up housing area in Buckingham, I do not have a chimney but really wanted a woodburner, after my friend recommend Three Shires Stoves to me I called Wayne and booked in a survey, I was very worried about whether I needed planning permission or not but Wayne was very patient and Sarah helped me with enquires to the council to check that I didn’t need planning permission as I live in a smoke controlled area. As it happens I did not need planning (as most don’t) and the work was carried out shortly after. I am very happy with my new stove and wanted to extend my thanks to Wayne and Sarah for their help.
We already had a fireplace it was just filled with logs, we had seen an inset fireplace that we wanted and contacted Three Shires via an email enquiry. We knew our job wasn’t the most straight forward but Wayne and Jamie came out and fitted the new stove and remodelled the fireplace, they were great with our kids too who were amazed by the ladders and the fireplace rebuild. Wayne is now booked in to do a similar job with our neighbour, very proffesional company, we can’t fault them for the service and knowledge they provided.
